Founding Partner
Ozgun Tumer is a partner and founder at Tumer and Sharif. Mr. Tumer heads the firm’s tax law department along with handling business law and estate planning issues. Mr. Tumer graduated from University of Michigan Law School in 1999. He received his masters in tax law from Chapman University School of Law in 2013. He received dual Bachelors from the University of Chicago in Economics and History 1996.
In addition to handling all types of business and tax transactions,Ozgun’s work in the business counseling includes counseling and representation of clients on tax, partnership, insurance, and commercial landlord tenant matters. Ozgun has served as lead counsel for clients involved in many transactions and proceedings.
Ozgun has been licensed to practice law in California since 2013. He is a founding partner of Tumer & Sharif. Ozgun is licensed to practice law in both state and federal courts in California. Ozgun is also admitted to the United States Tax Court. He is a member of both the California and Riverside County Bar Associations.
